Vacation Policy

After 90 days of enrollment, each family is entitled to two (2) weeks vacation at no tuition charge during the Academy calendar year (July 1-June 30). This must be taken in a one-week/two-week increment and CANNOT be taken in 10 separate days. To utilize this vacation time, parents must give a 30-day written notice to the director and pay a $10 vacation fee per child/per week of vacation prior to the start of their vacation week/weeks. If a 30-day notice is not given, the request may be subject to an additional fee.  This written notice form is located on the sign in/out table.

Extended Leave

Families are given two weeks of vacation without tuition charge. If a child is going to be absent beyond the two weeks allotted vacation during the Academy calendar year (July 1-June 30), payment of 25% of the normal weekly tuition rate/per week is required to hold the child’s spot for enrollment. This also includes the summer months. A 30-day written notice must be submitted to the director stating dates that the child will be absent. The reduced tuition rate must be paid on the 1st of each month the child is on extended leave. This written notice form is located on the sign in/out table.

Pre-approved Early Arrival/Late Departures

If a parent needs to drop off/pick up their child/children earlier or later than the scheduled time due to an UNUSUAL CIRCUMSTANCE, a 3-day written notice must be submitted. This may or may not be approved due to teacher/child ratios. In addition, an additional $10.00 fee per child/per week is required. The written early drop off/late pick up notice form is located on the sign in/out table. The parent/guardian will be informed in a timely manner if this has been approved.
